You need to wash and rinse everything thoroughly once you get it as the booklet says

Just had to cut the hose and put the sawyer inline and add a small piece of hose to complete the setup

The spout itself does its job admirably ad has not yet shown any significant sign of wear and im a chewer

The best part is the mouthpiece it’s very soft to bite and has a good flow but at the same time it doesn’t leak even with the valve open

So many good bags out there come with such a crap drink tube and bladder this exactly the quality replacement i was hoping for exceeding the quality of a known system that cost more than double
