Pros & Cons
Pros
Judging by our last teapot, on the general realistic size spectrum, it tips the scales to the lower end.
Water heats very quickly in it and stays hot. The handle does get very hot so you will need an oven mitt to pour your tea. Perfect for sitting on top of my desk on a cast iron tea light heater.
I love the color and it fits nicely with the decor. Reordered the largest & love it.
Cons
That irritates me. Mad at myself for purchasing it. Don't but this junk. This is my fault but just hoped this item would be more durable.
Kettle doesn't whistle, so you can't tell when it's about to boil. It holds 8 oz of water, not the 40 oz advertised. The infuser is cheaply made and not deep enough to make one or even 2 cups.
It is starting to rust in spots already, including the bottom of it, which have caused rust stains on our stove.
Highlights
Quality
So for the price this seems good quality
Haven’t tried it yet but looks of really good quality
The material seems of good quality except the hinges rust quickly and it overflows often
Competitiveness
This teapot gets constant use in my kitchen and it holds up like a champ
I had seen larger ones for a higher price at a store and thought they were the same size

This kettle has not shown any evidence of build up possibly due to it being smaller and we do not allow the water to sit since we drink a lot of tea and hot cocoa so the water is used up with each use

But without a “whistle” to tell you it’s ready it can be easy to forget if you’re busy

So if you’re distracted set a timer because burning will cause the cast iron to darken and the lining to chip

They always look so tacky sitting on my stove

It heats water to boiling in less than 7 minutes and the handle gets warm but not enough to actually burn you just scare you a little

I wouldnt place it directly on the flameburner only because i wouldnt want to risk ruining the lovely color
