I'm burning almost every thing to a crisp with an ocassional chunk. I like how it elevates the fire which provides good air flow, and less ash.
Great product for the price. Reasonable price. Excellent purchase. Worth the money. Good old american iron is excellent.
It replaces one that i used for many years. It saves the hassle of replacing it every year.

The flat grate vs sparse spike grate type are all made from cheap cast iron and hot fires take their toll
