I’ve also learned a lot about my cast iron which i thought i knew and am finally understanding how it can be nonstick even with eggs salmon goat cheese frittata cooked all the way through without getting overdone on the outside and slices didn’t stick to the pan

So i think it is the pursuit of knowledge on how best to care for a castiron pan and to gain an understanding of what types of recipes and foods excel in castiron that sends people in search of a good castiron cook book

After all there are no unknown or exotic ingredients in these recipes and nothing so foreign that you dont have an idea of what it should look like
