Pros
This tool is like a harpoon with a pogoo string inside that jack hammers the ice. The weight of the blade makes scraping exceptional.
The blade is thick, not flimsy at all. It has more weight to it than any other ice chopper giving it the extra inertia needed to chop through thick ice. Breaks ice easily without the jarring pain an old fashioned solid chopper gives.
Cons
The screw pictured is not strong enough to withstand the forces that are applied and needed to break ice. It needs to be beefed up on the durability standpoint to be worth anything.
