I knew this was a possibility when i purchased the watch and therefore purchased the aftermarket charger at the same time.

I've added pics now to show the wear and tear i've put on the watch in the nearly 7 months of non-stop wear.

As for the screen i added the screen protector the day it arrived and i've not needed to change it since and have no scratches on the actual screen itself.
