Pros

Iconic design, comfortable strap, extremely light. Sometimes i forget i am wearing it because it's so lightweight. Perfect for those with small to medium size wrists. Comfortable band and lightweight watch.

The gw-m5610u-1cf model is an updated version of the gw5000. I don't think it's a defect--some internet searching seems to indicate that solar/atomic models tend to be quieter than their more basic counterparts. Also love the solar battery.

Radio controlled timekeeping reduces maintenance. World time is nice when traveling, but having home time and airport time on the same screen turned out to be convenient. Set your time zone by city.

Cons

Ordered this watch and was immediately dismayed by the packaging. Notice to buyers or buyer beware. Amazon needs better quality control before sending the watch.

The specs are good - but casio lies about the specs. Can do a better job doing the time update manually. Numbers are rather tiny and hard to read for this 40+ yo.

I'm 6’6” and 290 and this watch looked like a bracelet on my wrist. Main issue with the watch is the horrible reflectivity of the face. Casio needs to add an anti reflectivity coatational layerization to the face so the glare isn’t so bad.

I was excited to find out that that they shipped the updated module 3459 instead of the 3195

My old gshock was a dependable maintenancefree timekeeper that just worked as it should

Competitiveness

This watch is as close to perfect as you can get in a gshock

Its a lot smaller than the normal gshock
