I cleaned the heck out of the keys and installed this from left to right as mentioned in the instructions

You have to carefully align the individual key covers as you lay it down all of 3 minutes of effort in total

For fit the only non issue was the right side didnt want to fit between the last set of keys and the lip from the recess however i took a business card and pushed it straight down and it sort of clipped in along that edge pic attached
