Great fan but a little louder than expected claim was under 23db sound meter from 3 feet found about 34db but this was a big improvement over the original fan which sounded like a buzz saw

Dont get intimidated you can fix your computer yourself just make sure to get the right size fan with plug cord

I had to fix my computer after my mother got drunk and spilled her wine into my computer happened on my bday but swabbing it out with alcohol and then putting in this fan seemed to do the trick although i still have to press f1 to reboot the computer

Cut hole just smaller than fan and installed on inside of case for extra air moving power
