From my survey of various xj forums it seems like these jeeps really prefer original equipment manufacturer parts which in the case of the fuel pump is by bosch and my advice for things on the electrical side of maintenance sensors etc particularly the cps is to heed that

At least this model year does not have an external filter so cleaning tank is critical especially if it had a pump failure or has had dirt intrusion
