Pros & Cons
Pros
Its small, convince, light weight and it fits in my purse. It's a bit taller than some other models, but sell made and very handy. Fits in the pocket nicely.
Carson 5x minibrite is a terrific magnifier! The 5-power magnification is just right for tiny print or small objects. Great to study small details such as engraved marks on coins or stamps.
They're very handy. And the batteries last a long time. Well worth it for my use reading the comics and puzzles in the newspaper.
The 2 leds are quite bright and really light up the item being examined, a definite plus. Vision impaired family member.
Highlights

Competitiveness
I take this with me to estate sales and yard sales

Also the lens is convex so it is hard to find the right distance to hold the magnifier from what you are looking at so you can read legibly
