Pros

Reviewer uses it to examine coins and medals. It is handy to have on the desk top. Comes with an a/c adapter and can use batteries.

Lighted magnifier works well for me. New light has a different plug feature. Attached light is very, very helpful unless you don't have another strong source of light to enhance it.

Cons

The light is weak and pretty much useless. I think i'm going to use a different wall transformer that provides a few more volts to see if i can light up those two leds a bit more. I puy in batteries but it will not light.

Poor quality. Is not worth it imho. It's not a happy day when you can't trust a seller. This is exactly why i didn't buy the two-pack.

The warranty says you must enclose $15 to return. It's been to long now (over a year) to request a refund. You can return the three for a refund, but the boxes are in the trash now.

The lens is weird - it distorts everything so i have trouble seeing clearly through it. The lens material is so soft just cleaning it with a cloth leaves scratches! Canon has no relationship to carson.

As long as you keep the front of the base facing the same direction youre moving the lamp it simply will not tip

This is not an expensive made light or magnifier but perfect for what i needed

It was a good value for the price

But the last time i bought this it was 30 less than it is today so i wanted to mention something i missed

Packaging/appearance

The inside box that the product was in was damaged and looked like it was ripped open

I usually keep the original box for storage but this one was trashed

The box was badly torn up and had been enclosed in a larger box for shipping
