This seems well made and replacement filters are in good supply

They screw in all the way and are not tight

The bottom clean view cup is extremely tight and hard to unscrew without damage

Item arrived very quickly and is what i needed to use in my boat with an outboard motor

Nothing was broken but it was packed poorly

I was happy that it arrived in one piece even though the box that it came in was damaged where the release valve extends

Competitiveness

Mercury wants 400ish for their name brand water separator and this one does the same job at a fraction of the price

The manufacturer should provide better fittings with it so you don’t have to run to the local hardware store before you can install it
