Not being a longtime user of these devices i dont know wether or not this is common but i was surprised to see this thing while very userfriendly and with good features becomes essentially worthless without a subscription to the service

I truly did enjoy it during the trial period but id rather shell out a bit more to get a proper code reader with 100 functionality out of the box
