Pros & Cons
Pros
Straps come in several different lengths. Needed the extra length to replace several sun damaged original straps. Broke the original on our camper and bought this to replace. Fits like the original, but be sure to measure the length of the old one.
Cons
The stitching where the strap attaches to the part that slides into the awning totally failed. The original version it replaced is much heavier with good stitching. This one looks like it won't hold up for long. This is not a carefree product.
Highlights
Quality
I like it much better with the little added length
Kept the old strap as don’t want to be caught with the strap breaking midopen or close
Just tricky to install due to the way the strap is attached feel quality though dont go for other knock off brands
Looks like good quality and was easy to install
Competitiveness
I used this on my home sunsetter awning and works fine though a little short
I bought this to replace the original sunsetter manual awning pull that was apparently cutoff from the unit on our newtous home
