Good paddle and will get the job done but if youre into racing or surfing be aware it has some flex being a 3 piece and the piece that tightens the adjustable stem will break but nothing a little glue wont fix

If you make it tight enough to hold in place wo slipping then you cant remove the handle section when finished paddling to put into the carrying case

But from the perspective of this amateur paddleboarder this is probably the paddle youre looking for to replace the cheap one that came with your board

Well they do float when the pieces are assembled and trap air inside the hollow shaft but individually the pieces do not float
