The old sunscreens we had were the ones that used suction cups top stick to the glass which was not much use as the kids would keep pulling them and in the end they ripped and became misshapen

With these the whole screen area acts as an adhesive that sticks to the glass so it is much more stable and will not be easily ripped or damages
