The image is very good including night the cables are quite long all i can say is that the image on the monitor is reversed that is what is left displayed on the left on the screen though certainly notit is if the connection is the problem

I removed it from the little bracket stand by unscrewing the bezel and then drilled a 12 hole in one of the tail gate surfaces of our suv and mounted the tiny camera through the hole
