I suspect what is happening with these backup cameras is they are running and they get warm then when you turn off your vehicle they cool off and suck humidity in

The solution is to wire the camera to a line where it is always on and wire the monitor separate to your key

Awesome little cam stood up to all weather and to be honsst has better picture quality than my crv lol only the night vision isnt that great
