I did find it necessary to make a minor alteration to prevent the clip mechanism that determines the phone width from sliding to the smallest setting whenever i put my phone in or out

For 1900 miles of driving we had absolutely no problems with the air vent mount and when using the gps the vent was not blocked so much that the ac in the car suffered the temp was well into the 90s
