I have been looking for one of these for my friend and i to use for her car as we constantly need to charge our phone but her car does not have a usb port so we use a cigarette lighter that can only charge one phone

It has a built in chip that will not allow the phone or tablet to be overcharged

The head of the charger pivots so you can angle the head toward your phone so the bottom of the cord does not get destroyed which i found to be a very nice feature

Not only it charges it tells you if you car battery is too low

It is not so good for cell phones or any chargeable devices to be kept charging after the battery is 100 full

The voltage readout does this but due to the bendiness it is not always visible to driver
