Pros & Cons
Pros
Ugly politics, but very believable. The story seems to me politics uphill battle against prejudiced overcoming odds.
Highlights
Quality
Each book expands this saga and i am again pleased with the process
Some complex events are still described too briefly a more common problem with the first couple of volumes but still a good read
Alesso has always done a good job with the naval action but now he shows a flair for ground combat as well
Competitiveness
As in real life when politics invades the direction of the war the military pays the price
