Its light sure and i wouldnt use it to hammer a nail but the plastic arm is well attached to the glass section and the lid is perfectly seated and forms a very tight seal even after years of being run through a hot dishwasher in the bottom rack

The top opening was too small to be able to put your hand inside and scrub
