Pros

Black bar is great. Perfect bar for my home gym. Chrome terrible packaging but surprisingly not damaged. Rattle from within that all cheap bars seem to have.

It's better for curls and overhead lifts. Rotation is smooth as well but not like sleeves will rotate like a fidget spinner. Only complaint is the end sleeves where the weights slide onto is grooved.

It's good for my small space and fits my rack just fine. This shorter bar is great for a variety of different exercises that the 7' isn't suited for.

It seems well made, the finish (black) has no scratches (yet) and the end sleeves spin smoothly with no rubbing or squeaking. Good weight, good length. Perfect size for my small workout space.

Cons

The finish is a bit rough and the chrome is so-so - i suspect it will rust in not too long of a timeframe. Taking plates on and off scratches the paint coating off. It isn't sturdy at all.

This bar is frustrating to use. There is about a 1/2-3/4 dip in the center of the bar. Just the loading sleeves riding on the bar held in with allen bolts and washers.

I bought this bar for my daughter who needed a lighter weight olympic size bar as she gets stronger but struggled still with the 45lb bar

That is just shipping nowadays and it is a testament to how sturdy this bar is

Packaging/appearance

Lots of scratches and gouges packaging ripped up

chrome bar terrible packaging but surprisingly not damaged

It will not effect the usefulness of the product but it would be nice if they used stronger cardboard packaging

The barbell itself is very sturdy and a good value for the money but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired

Competitiveness

I was a little hesitant because of some of the other reviews but i couldn’t resist taking a chance because of the price

If i were going to lift more than 200lbs id be more concerned about the roll in the sleeves
