This camera is very simple to use and i would highly recommend it to novices to the canon system. The full frame sensor is so much better than my old canon 60d, lighter and smaller than the 5d mark iii. A nice step up from my canon t5 rebel.

The menus are well laid out and very intuitive. It is easy to learn, and has a good amount of controls at your fingertips. The controls and ergonomics are a perfect fit for me. I have the custom controls set up to hold set for iso and aperture.

The clarity is awesome, even at the higher sensitivities. I do both deep sky and wide angle astro, it works great for both. Detail seems to exceed its 20mp specification too. The aa filter canon uses is excellent at retaining fine detail.

Cons

It takes about an hour to configure the wifi feature on this camera to do anything at all. The usb connector is not the ubiquitous micro-usb of smartphones, android tablets, sony nex and rx100 cameras, etc.

The camera came quickly and was exactly what i expected and hoped for

It is very good and it was shipped in 5 days

Well my canon 6d just arrived from amazon and i tested it out

Arrived on time and if the seller did not say it was used you would its new maybe its a new one i dont know lol

I wish this was the camera that i had bought instead of the rebel series

On paper the sony is superior but in daily use i dont think the 6d can be beat given the price
