Quality

I use this mainly for landscape photography and i am very pleased with the results

The optical quality is superb and you get the option of opening up to f1

Ill have to use it on a few jobs before thats final but the quality of canons l line is not something i ever doubt

Over the last two weeks i’ve had to do some product photography for some watch companies and am well pleased with the results

Price

The more i thought about it i realized that the hefty 70d ef 24mm f1

It is definitely a great prime lens and if you can afford the price buy it and you will not regret

Shipping

The shipping was so fast i was completely surprised when it showed up

Sure its a widewide no zoom but the creative possibilities opened up by the extraordinarily fast 1

Maybe not quite as fast as my 70200 but then im shooting at f1

Packaging/appearance

4 on the 5d3 without af adjustments performs lovely

I guess a battery holder will help balance it at least on the 60d

I dont have the luxury of af microadjsutment on the 60d though so that would need to be sent in

Competitiveness

The lens takes a 77mm filter and i would recommend getting a uv filter to use as a lens protector

I find that the af is better than many competitors in low light conditions

No lens is absolutely perfect so a 5star rating should not be taken as an unconditional endorsement
