Needless to say since i bought this after owning two other canon guides from the same author im pleased with the book
I am a long time canon user and was extremely pleased with the lucid menu explanation especially on new features
Prior to getting the book i struggled somewhat with the myriad of autofocus options available on the mark iv
Together with the canon user manual i now understand how to use my mark iv and get the most out of it
Price
Was worth the purchase price to me
And the price is extremely reasonable if not underpriced for the content and value imo
Book is worth well over 2x the price
Packaging/appearance
My only caveat i really dislike ebooks and reading from the screen
Ive upgraded my canon camera bodies over the past 9 years from rebels to the 5d3 and now the 5d4

Where the owners manual tells you what the camera features are this book tells you the why how and when to use said camera features

The author is correct that the roadmap uses to show us all the controls is joyfully easy to understand because he uses a picture of the camera itself
