That means when you let out 15 ft of line you are fishing right at or really really close to 15 ft instead of something like a 8 pound ball may only truly be fishing only 12 ft or something with further inaccuracy deeper you fish

One thing that was frustrating is that the down rigger model apparently doesnt come with the bolt and nut that gives you the option of hanging the weight close to the unit while driving however one very quick phone call to cannon customer service and they informed me it doesnt come standard with the unit and they would be happy to send it to me free of charge

The faulty unit came with a 1 inch gear and the gear it is suppose to be 1 18 inch

You can use a flathead screwdriver and pop the gear off and slide the right one on in seconds if this happens to anyone fyi

The dislike about it is the screw hole for boom didnt match up

Screw would not go through
