It's well machined, and there's little give. Pieces are strong and have an appropriate heft to them without being too heavy. Mount fits perfectly in shroud with absolutely no wiggle.

My only minor compliant nightcap only related issue not an issue on a helmet mount is that the screws go too far through the mount points on the opposite side and are a punctureinjury hazard

I need to go find the screw size and threading so i can buy shorter replacement screws

I recommend applying blue thread locker to the screws ive seen them come loose and they are not easily replaced
