This is a birthday gift that will fulfill the need to verify food temps in the kitchen oven and on the grill. A very simple task covered in the instruction sheet. Calibration is easy to perform.

Cons

It's almost impossible to read. It needs to be backlit. Absolutely useless. Definitely not suitable not liquid candy.

One thermometer came with the clear bezel partly detached from the display and the other thermometers bezel was loose in the box

This thermometer works great although i still haven’t figured out how to change it to celsius
