They sent a prompt email reply but in the meantime i tried the connector one more time

This time i went against my better judgment and applied much more force than i thought was safe to apply without breaking the adaptor and it went in the rest of the way securely locking the microphone connector to the adaptor

Although i understand that 2 speakers is ideal for true stereo right and left side this setup is actually not bad if you just want to carry a monitor around to a house party or simply recording mixes at home
