Went as far as buying a hose and filter for the buddy heater so i wouldn’t have to change 1 lb canisters every 4 6 hrs but still had that god awful smell the buddy heater puts out

This unit has been running off of 100 pound propane tank for well over a month heating an 8 x 12 noninsulated cat house and yes it’s cozy in there 🐾🐾🐾

At freezing temperature we only used the heat control set half way

This heater does not oxidize propane in to co because the chemical reaction is not energetic enough a good thing

The original heater would have long since used up all the propane under the same conditions

Its not a fault of the heater the issue is that burning propane even with this catalytic unit is inherently water producing
