Pros

The lid is beautiful. It looks classy and does a great job. My only complaint is the expense.

It is heavy and cooks and cleans easily even though it's not a nonstick pan. In some cases a little scouring may be needed to remove stuck on residue.

Cuisnart makes the best stainless stell cookware around. It's usable with induction cooktops. I have a new induction cooktop which means new cookware.

Cons

When the pot heats up to the boiling point the lid makes cracking noise. It also does similar noise when i turn the lid up and down when washing. The bottom is convex, which means when i try to saute veggies, all the oil spreads to the outer edge, lea... Read More

Cooked homemade vegetarian chili in it right away and was very happy with the results

I like it but i keep thinking that the calphalon quality is not the same as it was 10 years ago

Bought this to replace an anodized calphalon pot that was losing its nonstick coating
