Just there is left over metal on the part that put into the whole still so when you put them on there are stabbing your ear and is a little painful

I can see how someone not being careful would think there was only one earring in each packet

Also if you look closely at the pictures of the variations in style and colour of the earrings in the description you will notice that different colours and styles have different shapes of the part that goes through the ear

I ordered the gold nonflattened style and the part that goes through the ear is about the size of the post on an ordinary stud earring

I would certainly recommend them but read the description and look at the pictures carefully for the style you select
