It wont work properly if your telephone service ours is comcast has its own digital answering built in and you dont have a dedicated answering machine

The caller id mode works just like the telemarketing mode except that it also allows you to see who called if you have subscribed to caller id on your telephone service

Run dont walk to buy one of these mine was over 100 on ebay if you hate all those robocalls coming into your home

Sure i can look at the caller id and see if it is a call that i want to ignore but that still forces me to stop what i am doing and go look at the caller id display
