I called to have a number of pella casement windows adjusted because they were not closing enough to catch the latch to pull them securely closed

The tech that arrived said they couldnt be adjusted and then said the only thing that could be done was to pound on the window sill with a hammer to hopefully create enough space for the windows to clear the bottom and then get closer to the latch
