Pros

The alarm is a great bonus! Lol, they have a desk top model as well! I work in a kitchen all day, this is such a cool gadget! I also love the protective pouch that comes with it.

Perfect for the novice cook. Not only for cooking & baking. Highly recommend for chefs and culinary students. All of chef gordan ramsay's cookbooks use metric.

This device allows that and can even switch between measurements after the conversion. It's compact enough to fit in one of my kitchen drawers. This calculator handles the differences plus can increase or decrease measurements in a recipe.

Cons

Alarms are inaudible around any kind of noise. The display dims when keys are pressed and stay dim when timers are activated.

I dont know if they could do it with the electronics but this would be supercool as a fridge magnet
