It has a dvi port that doesn't support 4k. Both pc's have flickering issues, which nothing solves. If you still insist on getting a splitter try and find one that has its own ac power adapter.

It works great right out of the box
Given my oft rotten luck with electronics i was honestly skeptical that this thing would work right out of the box

I replaced a startech mst hub as it never worked properly when shutting down my 27 curved displays
2 port and running dual 4k30 monitors or 1080p60 no problems
I had a startech mst hub that was flaky and would sometimes drop connections and seemed to have compatability issues with my monitors
4 mst i am sure it can do dual 4k60 monitors

This must have been the msts default edid setting but after setting my monitors to 60p in windows display manager the picture was crystal clear

As noted in the listing this unit will not drive two monitors without external power

The unit does flicker the external monitors occassionally like once or twice every couple of weeks

Im beginning to think this is a windows issue however since the only that fixes it is a restart of the laptop
