Like xbox to modem or receiver to modem (inside same tv stand). When you plug in the cables, they make an audible click to tell you that it is plugged in nicely. Most routers use the middle pins to input the adsl2 signal.
Cons
Xbox controller constantly disconnects, my phone only charges if it's laying on a table. The micro is loose when plugged in. One cable has a bad connector on one end.

Dont use this size of you need to go through a wall or from the tv to another device
