Pros
The design of the wheels allows for a larger contact patch than a standard tire. Worked great over ashphalt, gravel, potholes and loose sand. The straps are easy to use and very good quality.
We are happy with it tho' and it did the job. Only downside is bit heavy and expensive. It is a little pricey, but worth it.
This works great and never disappoints. Placing it at about 40% from the back works like a dream. Works like a charm.
My one critique is they kind of cheaped out on the strap. The longer strap has the permanent metal clasp. Very easy to attach to the yak.
It's a little pricy for what it is, but i seems to currently be the best cart on the market now for beach applications. The cart is ultra high quality plastic with stainless rod axle inserts. It is ~$40 cheaper than the hobie 2-30 cart.
Cons
The c-tug is a good cart overall, but the sandtrakz wheels are terrible for their intended purpose of beach launching your kayak. The flexible sand wheels are and absolute failure of a design when using on pavement. The kickstand is pretty much useles... Read More

I have carted my kayak over hard and soft surfaces including sand and impressed with the ease of doing so
I have only tried this with the smallest kayak but it works great
I’ll update this review after i’ve used it with the canoe which is a lot bigger and heavier

So when i go to move the kayak the cart stays in place and the kayak slides right off
