The c. Osborne fid is of great quality as all osborne tools i have purchased. It works well and i am very pleased with my purchase. Nice fid lol.
The product is as advertised. The perfect tool for reupholstering my dinning room chairs. Cleaned it with emory cloth and applied a coat of gun protectant.

A fid is used in this process but as i was learning i used a knitting needle instead and thought that would be ok

The tip has no sharp edges to damage fiber while separating strands or opening a knot
