The retractable hanging rods make it great for grab-and-go research trips. The hanging “hooks” slide out from all four corners and are adjustable in length. This makes it easy for them to hook on different sized drawer hangers.
Cons
It can only serve as an expandable, stand alone file folder. I have to place it in sideways and keep it canted at an angle. The plastic pockets split right along side label tags.

It is pretty thick plastic and it can be used as a hanging folder or just a regular expanding folder bc the tabs for hanging slide out to hook onto the sides of a filing cabinet drawer

There are 13 slots and the organizer opens out to at least 12 inches
