My overall experience with the ge light strip is really good im very pleased
Very easy to control with voice command or with the c by he app
You cant control all the other features with your voice like you can with the app though
Overall we like the lights and they look great but definitely do your research to figure out what you need to fully optimize the product

Not that i need them all at one time but if i want to add something the price is right

I did a couple firmware upgrades that were recommend right out of the package but that didn’t add any features
They expected to come out of the package and roll right out and stick to anything dirt whatever

i have been using smarthome products for more than 10 years very close to when they started being produced and used widely
I decided to put these behind a tv
I recommend c by ge for being a brand that’s known and having products equal to but priced less than the competition

They use the same app as the c by ge lightbulbs and the app isnt great

Its perfectly functional if you just close the app and reopen it any time you need to do something and dont mind working with something thats a little bit buggy

It interacts with my ge dimmer so when i turn off the dimmer the switch also turns off

Theres a reason why the offbrand chinese lighting strips of this size go for about 15 theyre garbage in comparison to these

They mostly work but they generally rely on cheap remotes that break in a couple of weeks power supplies that fall apart or stop working and they often have connection problems
