Pros
App is fine but a little buggy at times and it takes a bit to load/refresh the switch list. Loved this product, worked as described and integrated with my alexa perfectly.
Shaw bluecurve modem (2. Works great. Updates and changes to hardware settings of the device (things like whether the ring light is on/off always) still require a bluetooth connection, but that's not a problem at all.
Cons
Dimming incandescent bulbs makes a loud buzzing noise inside the walls, blew a bulb and popped a breaker. The hardware feels good but that doesnt matter when the service behind it is utter garbage.
I have the new app, but it does not even recognize the switch via bt (blue light blinking) standing 1 metre away from it. The app detects the switches, but will not connect to any wifi.
Trying to get alexa or google to control the unit was an exercise in futility at best. The only way to fix this is by deleting the device in the alexa app and searching for it again. Shouldn't say alexa compatible when clearly it s not working properl... Read More

This was a great surprise great ingeniosity was used to design this product
I didnt intend to buy the one with the motion sensor but it was easily disabled
I wish it worked with the smartlife app
Competitiveness
Works better than other 3way switches dimmer i tried amazons brand doesnt brighten as much works easily with google and alexa
It also has a lower profile than leviton so i found them an easier fit
The intended app is terrible to use in its current state and lacks features found in competitors smart lineups
Its also more expensive in canada than in the us even taking into account the exchange rate

Need to use the adapter to make this work which means i had to purchase shorter led bulbs

If you find that it cycles on and off after setup youll need to contact the manufacturer

Google home recognized the c by ge device as soon as i added the app to the google home skills

Google even gave it a fan icon because i named it fan in the c by ge app first
