This little device solves that and keeps the lights in sync. Seems unnecessarily expensive but the price is in line with others. Anyway, my daughter of figuring it out.

My mistake really that although this unit met all the voltage and currentamp specs and compatible plugs to the l8star led light strips this unit does not have wifi and phone app connection capability as the l8star unit had
