It has a pretty unique and interesting lifting system that works as an elevator for either boiling or steaming. I wish that the electrical cord was longer.

For the price, you'll get the best bang for your buck.

It is more pricey that just a steamer but the self rising pot and the fast cooking times help to justify the premium price.

Then we got this plugged in, started boiling it with a little bit of broth, tossed in the veggies and then began cooking our meat.
This works well for three with plenty of room to put everything we wanted to put into the pot.
I have used a hot pot before and washing it was always difficult because the cord plugged into the pot itself.

However the cord itself isn't very long and you'll most likely need an extension cord because most tables aren't going to be near an outlet.
