I currently have four ip cameras hanging off this switch

Put in garage to feed all the outside cameras and it powers 8 cameras with no problems

And 1000megabit will be used if there are 8 cameras going at 8megabit with overhead

I plugged in an incorrectly wired jack and it started blinking at me indicating that there was an error
