Pros

The clear lid that goes over the tray creates the greenhouse effect. Followed directions to activate pellets. Filled a glass with pretty warm water and used a tablespoon to pour water over each pellet.

Cons

Burpee is a great company, but there was something seriously wrong with the product i got. Might be a bad batches. Definitely old stock and defective. The pods did not open when soaked with water.

Trays are very flimsy. Anything that germinates requires more than 1-1. Microbes are dead and the seedling roots are dried up.
