We had to shave the black rubber piece down to fit inside the arm

The connector kit is full and complete and containsa a new rubber connecting arm recommended to be replaced between 35 years based on usageb a new d connectorc a new safety strap needed this as our old one was torn and needed the piece of minda couple of things to note the bolt that come with the rubber connecting arm is slightly shorter than the original one we have and made it slightly tricky to fit

What i find amazing is how hard the flex bit seems when you try to bend it by hand but how flexible it turns out to be when the leverage of the bike is employed to deform it

Im only dinging this by one star simply because i think there could be a better way to offer a secondary hitch connection for backupsafety other than wrapping a strap around the chainstay and then clipping it onto a d ring
