Pros & Cons
Pros
Used this instead of coconut fiber for my planters. Works great and the birds dont pick it apart like the coconut fiber. The weave is way tighter than other burlap i bought and works great. The plants are rose bushes and geraniums.
Cons
The burlap itself is much denser too, in fact too dense for my purpose. It lingers on your hands after handling. Too thin, the burlap needs to be thicker to protect landscaping plants from winter weather.

The part of the tree that was under the burlap the leaves were smooshed not broken but that’s purely cosmetic

It doesn’t bother me because it’s a cosmetic issue and it just needs to catch up to the other side that wasn’t covered and kept growing
